    by Administrator · October 2012
Maybe an incorrect setting when configuring the IP address (wrong gateway or so). You can reset the sensorgateway using instructions in the user manual and reconfigure

Yes, you understand my statement correctly. The device is not reachable from any workstation in that 2nd VLAN.

    by Administrator · October 2012
Does your 'No' mean that you can't see the sensorgateway if you put yourself in the same second Vlan as the unit is in (so not accessing it from a different Vlan)?
  7. Issues on VLANs

    James.Cart
    by James.Cart · October 2012
No. If we put it in another VLAN with any workstations, the device is unreachable.
  8. Issues on VLANs

    by Administrator · October 2012
if it works on one of the vlan's and not the other it looks like a configuration issue on the other vlan. if it would have a problem with vlan's then it wouldn't work on any vlan (not even the first…

My networking skills aren't as strong as I'd like, so if this a noob mistake, I apologize. I just cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong here.

I can't seem to access my sensor gateway any more. I was able to do so a few weeks ago after I statically defined an IP address on the unit. It would not work with DHCP. I was unable to get it to …

I tried both 2.10 and 2.11 and still have the same problem. No email details as long as the dry contact sensor is plugged in. If I remove it it works fine.

  18. Testing Flood sensors via SNMP

    lnxus
    by lnxus · October 2012
It seems the cable has to be pretty much submerged. I was hoping less water than that would be conductive enough.
  19. Testing Flood sensors via SNMP

    by Administrator · October 2012
No sensitivity can't be tuned. Not sure what you mean with "more water" a few drops won't trigger it but if water is in constant contact (flood) then yes. It works around the principle …
  20. Monitoring appliance hangs up

    mzanferrari
    by mzanferrari · October 2012
The appliances is a bit slow if you access the OS but this is due to the fact that the CPU spikes to 99% util every minute or something like that, at least in my experience.
