You will need to run it in debug mode.

The monitoring_thread hasn't changed in this release. Try to do a manual upgrade as per wiki and see if that helps. If you run an Antivirus software, then deactivate it and see if it helps

After 13:17, a windows box comes up saying that the application has experienced a problem and must close. The application error previously listed comes up in the command prompt window.

I have downloaded the file and now the log shows the new version, but the error is still the same.
