Cannot send email alerts via cellular alert add-on

Hello, I have a cellular alert add-on and can not get the email alerts to work. I am using the mail.serverscheck.email account as per their site but still no go.
My sim is recognized and shows data: off line until I click on send test email, and then it goes online but shows there is an email error.
I am running with a Telus sim that is supposed to be supported by the LTE add on.

Any thoughts or input appreciated.

    The mail.serverscheck is no longer available for use via ADDON-LTE, as it is now integrated with Alert+. but you can still use the Gmail server as an alternative. The setup steps are provided in their user manual.
